URBAN-GROOVES musician, Trevor Dongo, has laughed off social media claims that he got ‘too personal’ with actress Tara in his latest video Break Away.
The Nerunako hit maker is seen kissing and cuddling with the actress but insists their relationship was purely professional.
“A lot of people are saying the intimacy is too much, we were just doing what needed to be done.
“The girl is a professional actress and what we did was highly professional.
We wanted to create a scenario whereby the video can tell a story even when the audio is muted and I’m glad we managed to deliver,” he said.
He said the video will not get him in trouble at home with his wife saying she is able to distinguish between private life and his professional.
“Work and private life; they don’t mix. My wife is cool with that,” he added.
The video is the singer’s first project of 2018 and he says more are coming.
“So far I have released a new video for this hot track titled “Break Away” and it’s now 5-days old and I can safely say it’s only the beginning of greater things lined up for 2018.
“I’m a man of surprises,” said Trevor D.
Trevor D confidently believes that his music genre heals the depressed.
“When you are tired of noise and your heart and mind is craving for meaningful music that speaks to your soul, Trevor Dongo music does the magic,” he added.
The urban grooves singer emphasised that he will not stop releasing love songs.
“Love is always a beautiful thing and whenever I pray for God to grant me a song, he gives me love songs mostly though sometimes I sing motivational life stories, so I can safely call myself the cupid,” he said.
And Tara is not the first lady that Trevor D has been cozy with in a video with songs like That’s How I Feel and Ndashamisika also featuring beautiful models.
In February, Trevor D will be going on a UK tour organised and promoted by AFROKINGS ENT based in the UK
He is billed to share the stage with XQ, Stunner, Soul Jah Love, Ammara Brown, and Charlie K @ Indig02 in London dubbed “Zim Connect 2018”.
