The MDC Alliance has maintained its “No Reforms, No Election” stance ahead of the elections slated for the 30th of July 2018.
Speaking to the media after court nominations, Jameson Timba who is the MDC Alliance’s chief presidential election agent said it is very sad and incompetent of ZEC to fail in its mandate of releasing the Voters Roll before the nomination court process which was held last week.
MDC Alliance’s statements come amid indications by the ZEC Chairperson Justice Priscilla Chigumba on Monday that nothing but an earthquake can stop the forthcoming election.
Chigumba said that once an election date had been proclaimed by the president, nothing would delay the polls, regardless of any anomalies.
“Anyone with queries should approach the courts for redress,” Chigumba is on record saying.
