VIDEO: Vice President Chiwenga blasts ‘false prophet’ Nelson Chamisa: ‘This is what Jehovah says …’

Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has described opposition leader Nelson Chamisa as a false prophet and “little bishop.”

The retired general passed the remarks this afternoon at a Thank You rally at Murombedzi Growth Point.

“We are saying to you blind ones who could not see and voted for this little bishop – the false prophet. He elects himself and the fire refuses to burn. He elects himself and the birds and return to the podium,” Chiwenga said referencing a Gwanzura Stadium MDC anniversary where Chamisa released 19 doves and lit what his party called the ‘Democracy Flame’.

“This is what Jehovah says, that we do not want to play with the name of Jehovah to that extent.”

Chamisa, who leads the Movement for Democratic Change, is also a pastor at the Apostolic Faith Mission church.

Speaking at the same event, President Emmerson Mnangagwa taunted opposition lawmakers that were Thursday forcibly removed from Parliament after refusing to stand up to acknowledge him.

“I will keep going to Parliament and if they (opposition legislators) do not stand up for me they will be thrown out again,” Mnangagwa said.
