The MDC Alliance Goromonzi South Youth Chairperson, Davison Chamisa, who was abducted following arrest in connection with a whistle protest has been found dumped in Norton.

This was revealed by MDC Alliance Information Department which said, “#DavisonChamisa who was abducted yesterday following an “arrest” by the Police in Goromonzi was found, badly beaten and dumped in Norton. He was injected by an unknown substance. This follows his involvement in the Goromonzi whistle protests.

This comes when the investigations into allegations of abduction and torture as well as se_xual assault of three MDC Alliance trio – Joana Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri and Netsai Marova are not yet complete.

Meanwhile, the opposition party and some international organisations including the United Nations have since concluded that state security agents are behind these human rights abuses.

The government, however, has argued that the alleged kidnappings are being staged to soil the image of the president Mnangagwa-led administration.
