Silibaziso grew up interacting with people with disabilities: Greatman’s in-laws speak out (VIDEO)

IT was a special day for musician Greatman and his wife Silibaziso as they wed in Harare last week.

The two tied the knot at the Village Gardens in Mabvuku.

Two local emcees – Confess MC and DC Lolo – took turns to direct the classy wedding reception and ceremony.

The ceremony attracted various guests, including fellow musicians, politicians, government officials, family and friends of the newly-weds.

The musician described his day as a dream come true and part of the drive to change perception towards people living with disability.

“The wedding was successful and many thanks to everyone who showed up. Like I said, I did this to change people’s minds towards people living with disability,” said Greatman.

“I owed this to my wife and we both believed we could do this and we did it in an exceptional way.”

The singer is on record saying he was also inspired by Sinikiwe Kademaunga and Rueben Zhivha’s recent wedding party held at the same venue.

Greatman’s uncle, Clever Gwaze, was overwhelmed by the support.

“I speak for the whole clan when I say Greatman has made us proud against all odds.

“We wish the couple all the blessings and believe the two will live happily ever after.

“To our bride, we pledge all the support the family can offer.

“Growing up, Greatman was patient with everyone, with his education and career choice.

“We asked him what he wanted to do with his life and he told us he wanted to sing and that’s how he met his beloved wife,” he said.

Musicians Stunner, Ba Shupi, Mai TT and Kuda Mutsvene performed at the event.

Trymore Bande, Vee Candy, Mudiwa and Aga Nyabinde also graced the event.

TEO Events hosted the wedding.

Greatman’s in-laws approved the marriage because they understood their daughter more than anyone else. They revealed that their daughter loves playing with people with disabilities.

“Silibaziso grew up interacting with her friends with disabilities, enjoying their company.”
