CITIZENS Coalition for Change leader, Nelson Chamisa, has abandoned a rally in Gokwe after Zanu PF thugs ambushed his convoy.
The people’s favourite opposition leader was quickly whisked to safety by his security team.
“ALERT: There’s been an escalation of violence in Gokwe ahead of a rally to be addressed by Change Champion in Chief, Nelson Chamisa.
“Journalists Tongai Mwenje, Toneo Rutsito, Pellagia Mpurwa and Chelsea Mashayamombe have been heavily beaten by ZANUPF thugs. Toneo lost a tooth.” CCC spokesperson, Fadzai Mahere, tweeted.
