My wife denies me sex if I don't clean the dishes or sweep the house

I'm a married man and I have one child with my wife. We are both employed and we both come home very tired after work. The problem is if I don't assist my wife with some house work she gets so angry such that she would not allow me to have sex with her on that particular day.

Is it a must that men should also help in cooking, cleaning the dishes, changing the baby's nappies, clean the house etc? At first I used to help her out of love but now she is making it an obligation that I must fulfil everyday and we are always fighting over that issue. I'm begging to think of looking for a smallhouse where I will be spending much of my time and get satisfied with unconditional sex before coming home just to sleep.
