Nyadzonia massacre survivor and liberation war hero Cde Gibson Martin Mutangadura who died last week has been buried at the Kariba District Heroes Acre.
Known by his Chimurenga name, Cde Zano raMwari, he succumbed to lung infection complications last week.
Cde Mutangadura received training in Mozambique and operated in the Bocha area of Marange until ceasefire.
On demobilisation, he trained as a technician and he joined the Zimbabwe Republic Police as a radio technician.
He later joined ZESA as a technician in Harare, Bulawayo and Kariba until he retired in 2014.

Cde Mutangadura is survived by his wife and four children.
