3 men hunting for star-printed US$100 notes dupe bank teller, get away with US$4,500 in daring heist

Police in Gweru are investigating a theft case that occurred at a local bank on Friday afternoon around 2:50 PM. Three male suspects, yet to be identified, targeted a bank teller by claiming to be in search of US$100 bills with stars printed on them.

According to Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, the suspects took advantage of the bank teller who was busy looking for the said notes and stole US$4 500.
