In a swift response to criminal activity, the Harare police have arrested two individuals in connection with a robbery incident that occurred at the Mupedzanhamo Flyover along Simon Mazorodze Road. Timothy Makurumidze (34) and Munyaradzi Munashe (25) were apprehended on the evening of 4th May 2024 at approximately 7:00 p.m. The suspects, now in police custody, stand accused of stealing a handbag containing US$21.00 in cash.
The incident unfolded when the alleged culprits targeted two victims near the flyover in Mbare. As one of the complainants managed to escape and sought help from patrolling officers, the other victim found themselves under attack. Fortunately, the timely report alerted the vigilant police members, who swiftly intervened and apprehended the suspects.
