Hard-working President Mnangagwa returns home after attending key summits in South Korea and Russia

Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has returned to the country after a fruitful series of international visits. The President recently attended the Korea-Africa Summit in South Korea, as well as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia.

“I arrived today in St. Petersburg for the 27th SPIEF. Had the honour of discussing Zimbabwe-Russia economic and diplomatic ties with President Putin. Together, we aim for mutual growth and cooperation,” President Mnangagwa said on X on June 6.

The President’s attendance at these two major international gatherings underscores Zimbabwe’s commitment to bolstering its diplomatic and economic partnerships worldwide. These visits have enabled President Mnangagwa to promote Zimbabwe as an attractive investment destination and to foster closer cooperation with key global players.
