Chitungwiza taxi driver raped by 2 women and 1 man

Harare – A Chitungwiza taxi driver, identified only as Takudzwa, has become the victim of a shocking crime after being indecently assaulted, robbed, and locked in the boot of his car by a gang that included two women. The harrowing incident unfolded on Saturday morning after Takudzwa accepted a seemingly routine fare to transport the group to Southerton.

According to Takudzwa, the ordeal began innocently enough when he agreed to drive the two women and a man from Chitungwiza. However, the situation took a sinister turn when the gang requested to pick up another individual who knew the area better.

While Takudzwa waited in the car with the male member of the group, the two women left and returned approximately 45 minutes later in a blue Nissan Note, conspicuously lacking registration plates. They then instructed Takudzwa to follow them.

It was at this point that the situation escalated dramatically. Takudzwa claims that the woman seated behind him injected him with an unidentified substance, causing him to lose consciousness.

Upon regaining consciousness, Takudzwa discovered that he had been stashed in the boot of his own vehicle. He also alleges that he had been indecently assaulted while unconscious. Furthermore, he realised that US$130 had been stolen from him.

Desperate for help, Takudzwa began banging on the boot of the car, hoping to attract attention. His cries were eventually heard by police officers on patrol near the Boka Bus Terminus along the Masvingo Highway, where the gang had abandoned him. The officers rescued him from the vehicle’s trunk.

Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, the spokesperson for the Harare provincial police, has confirmed that an investigation is underway. “We are looking into a robbery and an aggravated indecent assault case involving a pirating taxi driver,” he stated.

The police are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators. The use of unmarked vehicles and the alleged injection of an unknown substance raise serious concerns about the gang’s methods and potential danger to other taxi drivers and members of the public.
