A self-styled prophet has sensationally claimed that he has the power to locate where the head of the Murewa murdered boy was buried.
Prophet Tinashe Michael Sello of Christ Elevation International ministries last week posted on his Facebook page and Twitter that he had the name of the person keeping the head of the murdered Tapiwa Makore.
He never approached police over his claims to lead them as posted and went on to urge people to follow the Facebook page for details only to repeat information that included people who have since been arrested and appeared in court.
H-Metro on Tuesday visited his place of worship at Kingstone House and established that the posted messages failed to lure a number of people on Sunday as anticipated.
This publication went on to visit his offices along Gilford Road in Southerton suburb where people pay US$100 to consult him and found him helping a woman he spent with more than two hours while this writer waited for the interview.
Prophet Sello confirmed posting the messages on social media and went on to name a woman (name supplied) he says is a sangoma based Tete province in Mozambique.
“I posted the message expecting police investigating officers to consult me so that I lead them to where the person with the head is,” said Prophet Sello.
“There is nowhere I would deny to lead them to the person since the matter has taken long and of national interest and besides that it is one of prophets’ purposes to help in such issues.
“Hapana patingati muporofita anobatsira izvi zvimwe zvacho otadza as if Mwari anezvimwe zvaanotadza kuita nezvimwe zvaanogona kuita.
“Musoro wemwana wekwaMurewa akapondwa unen’anga huru inemasimba ekusimbisa dzimwe n’anga inogara pedyo nekwa Samora Machel muprovince yeTete kuMozambique.
“So I am prepared to lead police and Makore family in locating where the head is for the power of God to be shown through the prophecy and revelation given to me,” said Prophet Sello.
Prophet Sello discouraged investigating officers to continue interrogating the arrested suspects saying it is true that they were not aware of the where about of the missing parts.
“Suspects arrested do not know where the body parts are since what they were after was money which they failed to get from the buyer of body parts who is outside the country,” said Prophet Sello.
“If police continue to interrogate the suspects they will end up telling them what they see is best for them to be served from further interrogation.
“If they keep on interrogating them they end up naming innocent people in a way to delay them in their investigations.
“Vakaita mabasa aya vakaaita vavimbiswa kuti n’anga inesimba rekuti havaizobatwa nemapurisa uye vakabatwa anesimba rekuvasunungura.
“Vakatanga vauraya mwana ndokubva vazonomucheka musoro izvozvo ndizvo zvandakazarurirwa nemweya waMwari,” said Prophet Sello.
