Chiremerera which means “respect” was launched on 12 May at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare. On 13 May he travelled to the city of Kings to officially launch another album, Maita Baba (Thank You Lord) at Queens Sports Club.

In Harare, JP was supported by Feli Nandi, Mokoomba, Baba Harare, DJ Iroq and Abisha Palmer.

For the Bulawayo show, Jah Prayzah recruited Bulawayo artistes Mzoe 7, Ma9Nine, Asaph, Msiz’Kay and DJ Mzoe. He also invited Sha Sha, Nomfundo and DJ Tira from South Africa.

Both albums launch events were sponsored by Gateway Stream.

On his social media pages Jah Prayzah applauded fans for supporting him in achieving the success of his two album launches.

“Wow, what an amazing two days it has been. I am overwhelmed by the love and support shown by my fans during the album launches in Harare and Bulawayo. Thank you for making this a huge success.

“I couldn’t have done it without the amazing team behind me. A big shout out to the producers, band members, the amazing artistes in both Harare and Bulawayo, my friends from South Africa, Botswana, Rwanda, Guruve and everyone who was involved in making this dream work.

“I would also like to extend my gratitude to Gateway Stream Media for partnering with me on this project. Your belief in me and my music means the world.

“And of course, a huge thank you to our title sponsor, Sahwira Events and Lifestyle, for your unwavering support on these events and over the years.

“To all my sponsors that came on board, thank you for making the events as colourful and exciting as they were. This wouldn’t have been possible without you all.

“Once again, thank you to everyone who made this a huge success. Let’s keep the music flowing,” said Jah Prayzah.
