Police have issued an urgent appeal for assistance in locating a man from Chinhoyi who is wanted in connection with a tragic incident.
The suspect, Bwannali Bwanado, aged 50, allegedly stabbed his wife, Chioneso Ephraim, to death after discovering her in the company of another man on their matrimonial bed.
According to the police, the incident occurred on November 7, 2023, at a residence in Gadzema. It is reported that Bwanado, overwhelmed by anger, resorted to violence and used an okapi knife to fatally stab his wife.
“Police in Chinhoyi are appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Bwanali Bwanado (50) who is being sought in connection with a case of murder in which he stabbed his wife, Chioneso Ephraim (41), to death with an okapi knife after finding her sitting on their matrimonial bed with her boyfriend on 07/11/23 at a house in Gadzema.
“Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” police posted on X.
