ZANU PF, the ruling party in Zimbabwe, has issued a directive to all provincial structures, ordering an immediate halt to all suspensions within the party. The announcement was made by the party’s Secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Mutsvangwa, during a press conference held earlier today.
Cde Mutsvangwa emphasized that all suspensions should be put on hold until further instructions are given by the Politburo, the highest decision-making body outside Congress within ZANU PF.
“There should be a stay in any suspension. People must wait for direction from the Politburo because the standing resolution is that there are no suspensions or any such kind of behaviour within the party,” said Cde Mutsvangwa at a press conference this afternoon.
