In a recent statement, authorities have disclosed a distressing incident that transpired on February 3rd in Mutamba, Retreat Park, Harare. The police are currently investigating the case of a newborn baby being abandoned, as the lifeless body of the infant was discovered wrapped in a plastic bag.
In their efforts to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this tragic event, law enforcement officials are requesting any information that could aid in their investigation.
“Police in Waterfalls are investigating circumstances surrounding a case of baby dumping that occurred in Mutamba, Retreat Park, in which the body of a newborn baby was found wrapped in a plastic bag on 03/02/24. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” read a statement from the police.
