MDC headquarters Morgan Tsvangirai House has been set on fire
Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition(CiZC) has reported that they have received reports indicating that the that the MDC Party headquarters(Morgan Tsvangirai House) in Harare is on fire .
“Sources claim it’s an act of retribution by ZANU PF supporters.” CiZC said in a statement.
Our government source in Harare is however wondering how Zanu PF militants could have bombed the building right under the noses of riot police, CIOs and soldiers who are patrolling the capital.
Our source who refused to be named suspects that authorities might have cast a blind eye in this incident.
A number of MDC officials including their party spokesperson have also confirmed that their offices were bombed by elements linked to the ruling Zanu PF and state security forces.

MDC Youth Assembly Statement
Zanu PF provoking a response from the people
The MDC Youth Assembly has received news from our security personnel at Morgan Tsvangirai house that the party Headquarters was set on fire by armed individuals riding unmarked vehicles.
This is not the first time that Zanu PF has deployed it’s militia to bring down our party building.
Today, citizens and various civic groups demonstrated, angered by continued price hikes, particularly following the ridiculous announcement of new fuel prices by Mnangagwa, demanding action on his failed leadership.
The MDC YA position is very clear, citizens have a right to demonstrate peacefully as enshrined in section 59 of the Zimbabwean constitution.
We note with concern that the Mnangagwa government, whenever it is faced with citizens’ concerns it apportions blame on the MDC.
As a social democratic party whose values are freedom, justice and solidarity, we will stand in solidarity with the people and we will not shy away from that revolutionary task bestowed on our shoulders.
We however, want to warn Zanu PF youths that our silence does not mean weakness, neither does exercising restraint mean we cannot defend ourselves.
Be warned! Do not provoke us!
We remain unshaken, firm and resolute.
