The 29-year-old midfielder is back home on break from his English club Aston Villa. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Luton Town, helping them win promotion to the Premier League.

Nakamba is likely to rejoin Luton Town this coming season on another loan deal.

Aside from his skills on the pitch, Marvelous has been a great ambassador for Zimbabwe. He’s invited his Villa teammates to visit Vic Falls and promote tourism. Captain John McGinn and his wife visited last week.

Nakamba runs the Marvelous Nakamba Foundation, helping underprivileged kids get an education. The foundation has hosted footy tournaments for young players.

Marvelous revealed he’s using his offseason at home to focus on his charity work. His Luton Town teammates and fans have supported his efforts.
