The wife of late Zimbabwean church leader Archbishop Ezekiel Guti has formally announced three apostles who will now lead the congregation.

As the body of the esteemed archbishop arrived in Harare to an emotional hero’s welcome, Apostle Eunor Guti introduced Apostle Nyambo, Apostle Joe Guti and Apostle Steve Simukai as Ezekiel Guti’s chosen successors.

Speaking to grieving members of the ZAOGA church, Mai Guti encouraged congregants to unite and move forward in love.

“The church is not going to die,” she declared. “We all need to unite. We all need to love one another with the love of Christ.”

Archbishop Ezekiel Guti passed away in South Africa on July 5, with his body repatriated to Zimbabwe where mourners turned out in force to pay their respects to the influential spiritual leader.

Condolences have poured in from across the country and around the world, a testament to Ezekiel Guti’s remarkable impact during his lifetime.

The ZAOGA church has organised lavish celebrations to honour the archbishop’s remarkable life and legacy, scheduled from August 3 to 6 in Harare and across Zimbabwe.

The introduction of Ezekiel Guti’s chosen successors gives his grieving followers hope and direction as they process the loss of their beloved church founder and leader.
