SAD NEWS: Man butchered by former friends after beer brawl turns deadly

Two men are on the run from police after a minor dispute during a drinking session turned deadly in Silobela last week, leaving one man stabbed to death.

30-year-old Khulani Ndebele was viciously stabbed multiple times by his so-called “friends” after a heated argument broke out as the group enjoyed beers at Nyakwati Business Centre on May 28th.

According to police, the fight quickly escalated into violence as the assailants overpowered Ndebele, assaulting him with fists, sticks and eventually a knife. He died at the scene from his numerous stab wounds.

One of the attackers, 21-year-old Parent Moyo, has been arrested and is in police custody. However, two other suspects remain on the run.

Midlands police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko called on members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in apprehending the fugitives, saying “We urge members of the public to desist from resorting to violence when disputes arise.”
