A HARARE woman claims her co-tenant is a manjuzu.

She applied and was granted a peace order by the Harare Civil Court. Felistas Tipedze told the court that Tarisai Saidi also labels her a thief.

“Tarisai calls me a pr0stitute in front of my three youthful children.

“She once hired four women to assault me and I am pleading with the court to grant me this order because my children are not aware of my source of income,” said Felistas.

Tarisai, however, countered Felistas’ submission, saying Felistas was actually the one who verbally insulted her.

“She is lying, she paced up and down in the passage calling me a wh0re in front of my husband.

“She always mocks me, saying I don’t dress well or eat well despite being mɑrried.”

Tarisai said she was left in charge of the house by their landlord, who is based in South Africa.

“When I ask her why she leaves rice in the bathroom, she insults me,” said Tarisai.

Magistrate Sharon Mashavira granted Felistas the peace order and advised them to live in peace.
