Malia Matipa: Madam Boss Tarisai Chikocho walking on air

TARISAI ‘Madam Boss’ Chikocho was in seventh heaven on Saturday as she left the Avenues Clinic with her newly-born daughter Malia Matipa.

The baby was born on Tuesday.

Madam Boss has been praying for a second baby for the past ten years.

Her relatives, including her mother-in-law, were at the Avenues Clinic in numbers.

The guests showered Madam Boss with flowers, perfumes and various gifts.

The maternity ward staff, led by Sister Elizabeth, escorted Madam Boss and her baby to a Range Rover.

The car was part of a convoy of brand new vehicles which left the Avenues Clinic as Madam Boss and her baby headed home to Westgate.

“Children bring us a piece of heaven on earth,” said Gogo Munetsiwa, the mother of her husband Ngonidzashe.

“We are very happy for the gift of a baby girl,

“God has honoured us.”

Madam Boss thanked her legion of fans for their support during her pregnɑncy.

“I want to start by thanking the Almighty God for the journey I underwent and ended up being blessed with a baby girl,” said Madam Boss.

“The father of my child is currently in Germany.

“I want to thank our parents, and all the hospital staff members, including security officers, for making sure that everything was okay.

“Yeah, I had a comforting time under their care and the food given to all the patients in the ward was so delicious and nutritious.”

She said there is a lot that comes with being a mother.

“It’s not easy, it needs patience and endurance and to all those who are yet to conceive, remain prayerful and focused,

“God is merciful.

“God will wipe all your tears with joy at an appointed time.”
