MDC-T leader Douglas Mwonzora has withdrawn from contesting the 2023 Presidential elections in Zimbabwe.
Mwonzora made the announcement at a press conference in Harare on Tuesday.
The MDC-T leader said he was withdrawing from the race in protest over what he claims is unfair treatment against his party by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).

Addressing journalists, Mwonzora cited election mismanagement and bias by ZEC as the reason for pulling out of the race.
