The police have once again banned a rally organized by the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) party in Masvingo province.
The rally was scheduled to take place today at Chivi growth point, but the police stopped it from going ahead.
On Wednesday, the police in nearby Chiredzi also banned a CCC rally and used teargas to disperse hundreds of party supporters who had gathered for the event.
The CCC says the police bans on their rallies are unjustified and politically motivated.
