A DRIVER got the sh0ck of his life when he discovered a dead body while operating heavy machinery at a waste site in the capital city.
Bulldozer operator Benson Masora, 47, was levelling a huge pile of garbage when he spotted what looked like a human head protruding from the trash. Upon closer inspection, he also saw a human hand.
Benson stopped the dozer and alerted guards Irvine and Christopher who came to confirm it was truly a dead person trapped in the foul-smelling landfill.
Police spokesman Inspector Luckmore said officers are treating the grim discovery as suspected murder.
“We are investigating after a human body was located at a waste site in Pomona. The remains have been taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital Mortuary for autopsy,” he stated.
