Police in Nyanyadzi have apprehended Patrick (29), a suspected mental patient, following the brutal killing of his four-year-old cousin. The incident occurred on January 16, around 1 am, at Zvavamwe homestead in Svongwa Village, Buhera.
The suspect allegedly confessed that he committed the offence after waking up from a nightmare.
Meanwhile, police in Chipinge are appealing for information regarding the murder of Peter Sithole Machaka (19), who was discovered lifeless in a pool of blood at Plot 13 Glendalough Farm. The police are actively investigating the case and urge the public to come forward with any relevant details that may aid in their efforts.
