In a brazen and violent turn of events, a Harare home in the Borrowdale suburb was the target of a ruthless robbery on the evening of June 8th, 2024.
According to police reports, five unidentified male suspects, all wearing face masks and armed with a pistol, forcibly gained entry to the property by scaling a precast wall. The armed intruders then proceeded to attack the complainant inside the house, ransacking the premises and making off with a substantial haul of valuables.
The stolen items included a staggering US$10,000 in cash, a CZ pistol with a magazine of four rounds, and an assortment of jewellery and other prized possessions. The suspects’ swift and ruthless actions have left the Borrowdale community shaken and the victims traumatized by the ordeal.
