Genesis ‘Kaka’ Managombe has been appointed as the interim Dynamos head coach after the club parted ways with Herbert ‘Jompano’ Maruwa.

Former Dynamos coach Lloyd “Mablanyo” Chigove is coming in as Mangombe’s assistant coach.

Maruwa, who had penned a performance-based one-year contract, fell by the wayside after 18 games.

He guided Dynamos to seven wins, eight draws and three defeats and they trail unbeaten leaders, Highlanders by nine points.

Mangombe established himself at Yadah where he was head coach for three years before exiting to join DeMbare as an assistant coach.
